Tessa Stuart is a writer, reporter and person generally uncomfortable with talking about herself in the third-person, but willing to do it for you. She grew up in Monterey, California, and studied rhetoric at the University of California, Berkeley.
Since 2015, Tessa has covered politics and national affairs at Rolling Stone, where she is now a senior writer. Before that she was a staff writer at the Village Voice, BuzzFeed and Santa Cruz Weekly, a fellow at LA Weekly, an intern (KQED, the East Bay Express); and, way back in the day, a contributor to her college newspaper, the Daily Californian.
